Taking care of your Zyrca™ shears

  • Complete and mail the warranty card to ensure your Zyrca™ shears lifetime warranty.
  • Your Zyrca™ shears must be used ONLY to cut hair.
  • Wipe water and corrosive solutions with a clean cotton cloth after each use.
  • Lubricate your shears often, particularly in the pivot area. Use oil supplied with your shears, WD40 or similar.
  • Keep tension properly adjusted.
  • Send shears periodically for fine tuning and honing by an authorized professional service center.
  • Shipping envelope and instructions are included in the Zyrca™ shear box.

Warranty Information

Zyrca Warranty:

FIRST YEAR WARRANTY: Zyrca™ professional shears carry an unconditional "no-questions asked" quality, service and satisfaction guarantee. Zyrca™ will service, recondition and sharpen all shears for the first year after purchase. Just use the envelope provided for shipping and include your completed registration card.

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY: After the first year of ownership, Zyrca™ professional shears carry a limited lifetime warranty, which guarantees your shears to be free from defects in materials and workmanship during THE LIFETIME OF THE SHEAR. Zyrca™ will, at its option, repair or replace the shears that prove to be defective in material or workmanship with the same or like product. Accidental nicks or drops are covered. However, evidence of abuse or neglect will void the warranty. Unauthorized modification, repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by Zyrca™ will void the warranty. Routine maintenance services such as sharpening and cleaning are not included in this warranty. To obtain these services, please refer to the shipping envelope and instructions included in the Zyrca™ shear box.

Salon Apparel Guarantee:

Should this product be found to be defective in material or manufacture at any time within six months of purchase, it will be replaced free of charge by Betty Dain Creations, Inc. Simply return it with the sales receipt to Betty Dain Creations, Inc. for replacement.
